The grant “IIAS-PIASt” from the Israel Institute for Advanced Studies and from the Polish Institute
Doctor Nataliia Dobroier has obtained the grant “IIAS-PIASt” from the Israel Institute for Advanced Studies and from the Polish Institute of Advanced Studies PIASt.
Doctor Nataliia Dobroier has a PhD in Cultural Studies. Her Research Doctorate work “Cultural analysis of the verity as a concept in the Western European discurse’ was presented and defended in 2011 in Tavriya National University Vernadsky. In Ukraine Dr. Dobroier is acknowledged with a National Academic status of a docent, Associate Professor of Cultural Studies and Art History since 2015.
Research project: “Knowledge of the Ukrainian refugees about the Polish culture before and after the war”
In the research Dr. Dobroier aims to study various sides of apprehension of Polish culture among the Ukrainian refugees, who arrived to Poland after 24.02.2022. The main focus of the research is to reveal the barriers which prevent apprehension of Polish culture with Ukrainian refugees and, consequently, their adaptation in the Polish society.
During the next three months Dr. Dobroier will realize the project “Knowledge of the Ukrainian refugees about the Polish culture before and after the war”.
